What is a surge?
A surge is a random and short jump in voltage which goes above the normal range. This is caused by
a) Faulty wiring
b) Effect of inclement weather
c) Sudden load turning on or off home appliances.
Why protect against surges?
Constant Exposure to spikes in voltage weakens the integrity of the device and shortens its life span.
Why DIGICOM Surge Protectors?
DIGICOM protectors are made with the purest of components and under the strictest of safety standards. We offer higher specifications. Higher Amperage provides greater spike and lightning adsorption. Higher Joules provide longer-lasting surge protection.
- Do not overload.
- Indoor use only.
- Do not connect any appliances to the surge protector with coaxial, telephone or networking cable during lightning.
- Do not open the surge protector for any reason.
- Do not put the surge protector in wet surrounding.
- Please keep children away from the surge protector.
Note: Press the RESET button after overload has occurred. Incase of continual overloads, please locate the problem source or seen assistance from a licensed electrician.
